Australia: Bundaberg Regional Council’s Community Services Program

NOFO: Strengthening Existing Models and Structures for Effective P/CVE Programming in Punjab (Pakistan)

Deadline: 28-Nov-2025

The Bundaberg Regional Council is offering vital support to local groups and organisations through its Community Grant Program, designed to strengthen the quality of life across the region.

This initiative provides funding of up to $5,000 per application, helping not-for-profit organisations deliver projects and services that have a lasting, positive impact on the community.

The program is open to Bundaberg-based organisations that can demonstrate their not-for-profit status and hold a current Public Liability Certificate. To be eligible, applicants must also have the majority of their members residing within the Bundaberg Regional Council area and must have satisfactorily acquitted any previous grants received from the Council. Organisations that meet the requirements are also permitted to auspice another group, thereby extending opportunities for more community-driven initiatives to receive support. Special provisions exist for peak bodies outside the Bundaberg local government area to act as an auspice, provided they are directly affiliated with the Bundaberg-based branch they support.

Certain groups, however, are ineligible for this funding. These include organisations that have already received Council grants or financial assistance in the previous financial year (with the exception of the Special Events Grant), groups that have failed to acquit earlier grants, political or discriminatory bodies, for-profit entities, and schools or universities.

By focusing on genuine grassroots organisations and prioritising accountability, the Bundaberg Regional Council’s Community Grant Program ensures that funding directly benefits local communities. This targeted approach not only uplifts residents but also fosters a stronger, more connected, and more resilient Bundaberg region.
