Bundaberg Regional Council’s Special Events Grants Program (Australia)

Deadline: 26-Dec-2025

The Bundaberg Regional Council’s Special Events Grants Program is offering an exciting opportunity for local not-for-profit organisations through its Special Events Grant Program.

This funding is designed to support community events that bring people together and enrich the region’s cultural and social life.

Eligible organisations can apply for financial assistance of up to $1,000 to help deliver their event. This funding can cover a range of costs associated with planning and hosting, making it easier for local groups to create meaningful experiences for the community. Events supported by the grant must acknowledge the Council’s contribution in all promotional activities.

For organisations seeking more substantial support, applications for funding above $1,000 and up to $5,000 are available through the Community Grants Program. These applications must be submitted during specific rounds, which close on the last Friday of June, October, and February. Both funding streams come with conditions that must be met before the event can take place, and all decisions made by the Council are final.

This opportunity is open to not-for-profit groups and organisations that are based within the Bundaberg Regional Council area, with most of their members residing locally. However, groups that have not met requirements for previous grants, as well as political, for-profit organisations, schools, and universities, are not eligible to apply.

Through this support, Bundaberg Regional Council continues to invest in the vibrancy and connectedness of its communities. Local organisations are encouraged to consider how their events can benefit the region and make the most of this funding opportunity.
