Call for Applications: Documentation of Cultural Heritage Assets (Kosovo)

Community Arts and Cultural Development Grants in Australia

Deadline: 31-Jul-2025

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo is inviting university students from diverse communities to apply for a five-day practical training on the Documentation of Cultural Heritage Assets. This training will take place from 18 to 22 August 2025 and will focus on the history of Letnicë/Letnica and the best methods for documenting heritage assets. Past camps have offered young people unique chances to protect and promote cultural heritage.

This workcamp is ideal for students interested in promoting or preserving cultural heritage values. Over the five days, participants will gain practical skills through hands-on documentation of cultural heritage sites in the village. The experience combines learning with real impact. While students from any relevant faculty can apply, it may be especially appealing to those studying architecture, anthropology, cultural heritage, social sciences, or tourism. Knowledge of English is desirable.

Accommodation will be provided at Hotel “Astoria” in Gjilan/Gnjilane. The OSCE Mission in Kosovo will cover all participant expenses, including transportation and full board accommodation.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in higher education, including master’s level students, with a strong interest in promoting or preserving cultural heritage values. Students from any relevant faculty may apply, with particular interest for those in architecture, anthropology, cultural heritage, social sciences, or tourism.

To apply, interested students should submit the following documents in any official local language: a CV, a letter of interest (maximum 500 words, Times New Roman size 12), and proof of student status from their faculty confirming enrollment and subject studied.
