Call for Entries: GSDTF ProNature Grant in Grenada

U.S. Mission to Vietnam: Public Diplomacy Section

Deadline: 30-Sep-2025

The Grenada Sustainable Development Trust Fund (GSDTF) has officially launched the call for project proposals under the ProNature Grant, an initiative fully supported by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) through the Caribbean Regional Architecture for Biodiversity (CRAB) Project.

This funding opportunity is designed to advance climate action, biodiversity protection, and sustainable community development across Grenada.

Proposed projects should contribute meaningfully to one or more key areas, including climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, habitat restoration, sustainable livelihoods in sectors such as agriculture and fisheries, as well as education, training, and research initiatives. By targeting these priorities, the program aims to strengthen local resilience while protecting Grenada’s rich natural resources and ecosystems.

Each successful project will receive funding between US$10,000 and US$40,000, with a maximum implementation period of 12 months. This short-term but impactful approach is intended to drive immediate results that can be built upon in future conservation and development efforts.

The ProNature Grant welcomes applications from a diverse range of actors, including Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), local universities, private sector companies, and community groups. By opening eligibility to such a broad base, the fund emphasizes inclusivity and collaboration, ensuring that solutions are locally driven and community-owned.

This grant represents a timely opportunity for organizations and groups committed to building sustainable livelihoods and preserving biodiversity in Grenada to secure the resources needed to bring their initiatives to life.
