Deadline: 15-Dec-2025
The Mibilla Foundation offers grants of up to $10,000 to support community-led initiatives and ideas.
These grants are designed to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations or partnerships that aim to deliver meaningful impact across their communities. By providing financial support and fostering collaboration, the Foundation helps turn innovative local ideas into transformative actions.
The Mibilla Foundation’s General Grant program focuses on supporting Indigenous-led organisations that promote cultural, social, and economic development. Eligible applicants include registered Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations or non-profit entities working in partnership with them. Projects should demonstrate strong community engagement, sustainability, and alignment with the values of self-determination and capacity building.
Each funding round seeks proposals that create long-term benefits for Indigenous communities—whether by scaling existing projects, launching new initiatives, or strengthening networks and leadership within communities. Applicants are encouraged to clearly outline their project goals, anticipated outcomes, and community involvement.
With up to four opportunities per year, the Mibilla Foundation’s grant program provides an accessible and recurring avenue for grassroots organisations to secure funding. It supports projects that celebrate Indigenous culture, address local challenges, and build stronger, more resilient communities across Australia.
