The World Food Programme (WFP) has announced a new partnership initiative in Departamento del Meta, Colombia, aimed at strengthening operational capacity through training, capacity building, and the timely deployment of skilled personnel.
The primary objective of this effort is to ensure the efficient, transparent, and timely hiring of staff required to operate Mobile Units. These units play a critical role in delivering essential services to communities, particularly within the framework of the cooperation agreement between WFP and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF).
The initiative emphasizes compliance with all established technical, administrative, and legal processes, ensuring that personnel management not only meets operational needs but also upholds accountability and transparency. By enhancing human resource capacity, WFP and ICBF aim to strengthen community-based service delivery and improve access to essential welfare and nutrition services across Meta.
This partnership reflects a broader commitment to supporting institutional development in Colombia, reinforcing both the effectiveness and sustainability of programs that directly benefit vulnerable families and children.
