The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is calling for proposals under the Markets for Change Low Value Grants initiative. This opportunity is open to organizations that are focused on gender-responsive capacity-building projects aimed at improving economic and sustainable livelihoods.
Proposals should support initiatives that promote climate-smart agricultural practices, add value to local products, or deliver essential social services for market vendors in Samoa. These projects should align with UNDP’s broader goal of empowering communities, particularly women, through inclusive and sustainable development efforts.
Funding support of up to USD 30,000 is available for selected proposals. Eligible applicants include non-governmental and civil society organizations (NGOs and CSOs) that are committed to driving local impact and building resilience within market systems.
