Call for Submissions: Tim Fischer Fellowship (Australia)

Apply for Immuno-Informatics Postdoctoral Fellowship

Deadline: 17-Aug-2025

The Country Education Foundation is inviting applications for the Tim Fischer Fellowship, designed to support individuals passionate about creating positive change in rural and regional Australia. The fellowship offers funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help recipients bring bold ideas to life and grow their careers.

It is open to aspiring leaders, professionals, researchers, and innovators who want to make a real impact. The program aims to recognize and support individuals driven to influence rural communities and policies at both local and national levels.

Fellows will benefit from a personalized mentoring program, financial backing of up to $50,000, and access to key events and industry networks. The fellowship also provides a platform to share insights, inspire others, and drive change throughout rural and regional Australia.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and residents of Australia. While preference is given to those from rural or regional areas, it’s not mandatory. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to regional development and be willing to act as ambassadors for the Country Education Foundation by attending events and sharing their experiences.

Applications will be judged based on how well they align with the fellowship’s mission, the clarity and feasibility of the proposed project, and its potential impact. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by an independent panel, whose decisions are final.

To apply, candidates must submit an online application via the CEF website, including a two-minute video, a 350-word bio, a detailed proposal and budget, references, and optionally, up to three supporting documents like a resume or portfolio. All information must be accurate and original.
