CFAs: FCL Community Investment Fund in Canada

Applications open for Norden 0–30 Funding Programme 2024

Deadline: 30-Sep-2025

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is now accepting applications for its Community Investment Fund, which aims to support community programs and organizations that are meaningful to their employees.

FCL is a co-operative that backs other co-operatives serving Western Canada. It is also part of the Co-operative Retailing System, a network that includes around 160 independent retail co-operatives working together to help build, feed, and fuel local communities.

Funding requests can range from $500 to $10,000. To be eligible, applicants must be registered non-profit or charitable organizations. Their projects should support charitable programs that create a meaningful impact in the cities of Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, or Winnipeg.

However, not all projects qualify. FCL does not fund religious or politically affiliated organizations, sports-related events such as golf tournaments, marketing sponsorships, or projects outside the five eligible cities. They also exclude capital funding requests and third-party fundraising initiatives.
