Community Events and Programmes Fund (New Zealand)

Grants for Small-scale Development Projects in Serbia

Deadline: 31-Aug-2025

The Community Events and Programmes Fund offers financial support to not-for-profit and voluntary organisations for expenses related to community-focused events and development programmes. It is designed to back initiatives that address local needs through innovative community-driven solutions or one-off events that celebrate identity, culture, or promote community engagement.

Projects supported may include celebratory, educational, competitive, commemorative, or exhibit-based events that encourage cultural sharing within the broader community. The average grant amount typically ranges from $500 to $3,000.

Applicants can request funding for various costs, including materials and supplies required to run a programme or event, venue and equipment hire, and personnel or administrative expenses. Promotional activities to attract participants and volunteer support or recognition are also eligible for funding.

Those eligible to apply include not-for-profit community groups, voluntary organisations, individuals, and organisers of social development programmes. However, schools, major events, and organisations with significant regular income or large capital funding needs are not eligible. Applicants interested in large-scale events are encouraged to explore the Horowhenua Major Events Fund instead.
