The Victorian Multicultural Commission is pleased to announce the Community Response and Recovery Award to recognise people, groups or organisations that have directly supported multicultural communities impacted by a crisis, or people, groups or organisations of diverse backgrounds that have volunteered to support crisis response and recovery efforts in Victoria.
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals, community groups, and organisations.
- Multiple organisations working together are also eligible.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
Assessment Criteria
- Addresses the specific needs of multicultural communities impacted by a crisis.
- Demonstrates unity in times of crisis through compassion, assistance and support of fellow Victorians.
- Supports multicultural communities to recover and rebuild after a crisis.
What do I need to make a nomination?
- you will be asked 4 questions to support your nomination.
- all nominations must include contact information for 2 referees. Note: referees are compulsory
- you may attach up to 5 additional materials to support your nomination, for example news articles, videos or referee statements
