Environmental Community’s Organizer ‘ECO’ Award (Canada)

Deadline: 29-Feb-24

The Environmental Studies Association of Canada (ESAC) is pleased to accept nominations for the annual Environmental Community’s Organizer Award (ECO-Award).

Each year, the ECO-Award honours individuals, teams, or organizations who have positively contributed to the field of environmental studies in Canada through community-building, research, knowledge-to-action, and/or innovations in practice or approaches. The award committee will happily consider nominees from academic, practitioner, community-based and other backgrounds.

ESAC defines environmental studies as a transdisciplinary field that investigates, educates, guides, supports, or acts upon human-environmental relationships.

They particularly encourage nominations for or applications from individuals, groups, or organizations working in interdisciplinary and multi-sectoral teams to advance the field of environmental studies through the development, enhancement, or expansion of innovative collaborations and networks.
