The Wollondilly Shire Council is now accepting proposals for Australia Day Award for people who live and volunteer in Wollondilly, who would be worthy recipients for an Australia Day Award.
The challenges of the last two years have highlighted the commitment of the many amazing individuals who are part of the Wollondilly community.
They are looking forward to celebrating the day in January, hopefully together in person. They look forward to welcoming their newest citizens to Wollondilly and celebrating the achievements of their Australia Day nominees.

Things to Remember
- When you fill out the nomination form, there are a few things you should consider to ensure your nomination provides The Australia Day Award Committee with enough information about the achievements of the person you are nominating.
- Make your nomination is strong by outlining why this person or organisation is worthy of this award.
- Use examples to demonstrate their outstanding achievements and commitments to their community.
- Stick to the selection criteria
- Include as much supporting documentation as you have with your nomination. This can include personal references, resumes, newspaper articles, etc.
