Apply for Reimagine Recycling and get a chance to receive PhP500,000 in project funding and qualify to join the Reimagine Recycling Summit to connect with fellow reimagineers and learn from mentorship sessions to further your solution for waste pollution and recycling.
Now on its fifth year, Reimagine Recycling is once again seeking emerging circular economy initiatives to support through workshops and project funding.
It aims to train entrepreneurs with existing projects that help address issues. This year’s search will focus on grassroots initiatives that develop circular systems, support informal livelihoods, and prevent waste leakage in riverine and marine ecosystems.
Community-based education and advocacy programs that improve knowledge and practices on recyclable plastics, waste segregation, and collection for recycling are encouraged to be components of the projects.

Funding Information
- Successful applicants to Reimagine Recycling Year 5 will attend the Reimagine Recycling Summit in Metro Manila in January 2024 and pitch their projects in person. Selected winners will receive up to PhP500,000.00 from Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines to support implementation of activities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must apply as an organization, association, or group.
- An organization that can comply with minimum legal documentary requirements to receive funding support (e.g., BIR/DTI registration, official receipts) is ideal but not required. If the organization/group is not legally registered, they can partner with Save Philippine Seas or another legally registered organization that can serve as a fund manager. Each application must have a minimum of two representatives and a maximum of three representatives.
- Have a completed or existing project that is at least six months old by November 2023.
- Projects must show potential for replicability, sustainability, and value to its target beneficiaries.
- Commit to participate in a short online interview and attend the mentorship sessions and project pitching during the Reimagine Recycling Summit.
- The four-day Summit will be held in Metro Manila in mid-January 2024. The Summit will include workshops, mentorship sessions, and live pitching. Finalists will also get to interact with past Reimagine Recycling grantees.
