Kingston Council's Community Resilience Fund – United Kingdom

Deadline: 31-Oct-2025

The 2025–26 Kangaroo Island Council Community Grants Scheme is now open, offering a total pool of $22,500, with up to $4,000 available per application, to support projects that deliver social, environmental, or cultural benefits to the island community.

The program funds a wide range of initiatives, including community and cultural events, environmental projects, asset purchases that enhance group functions, equipment and material costs, improvements to community facilities, and other activities that demonstrate clear community benefit.

Applications will be assessed on their alignment with Council’s Strategic Plans, their ability to address community needs or emerging issues, foster partnerships, and be delivered responsibly.

Eligible applicants include Kangaroo Island-based not-for-profit groups and individuals auspiced by such organisations, while ineligible applicants include for-profits, state-run organisations, schools, Council committees, and groups already funded within the same financial year.

Projects involving land purchase, facility upgrades on government or private property, profit-making ventures, political activities, debt payments, and prize money are also ineligible for funding.
