Micro-Grants for Legal Compliance Support for Women-Led/Serving CSOs in Chitral (Pakistan)

Deadline: 09-Oct-2025

The TELUS Indigenous Communities Fund (ICF) offers a meaningful opportunity to support Indigenous-led initiatives across Canada.

Designed to foster tangible, positive outcomes, the fund provides one-time grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to Indigenous-led organizations including Band Councils, Indigenous Governments, representative groups, non-profits, and community-based initiatives.

Funding is aimed at addressing pressing social or well-being needs through projects that lead to measurable community impact. Examples include promoting individual and community wellness, cultural revitalization, breaking down geographical and economic barriers, and enhancing community engagement through increased social connection.

The fund supports a wide range of initiatives focused on health, mental health, education, land and water preservation, and intergenerational cultural renewal. Projects using technology as a tool for reconciliation may receive special consideration.

There are specific exclusions to keep the focus on community-driven, nonprofit efforts. Funding is not available for for-profit ventures, religious-based projects, lobbying efforts, retroactive expenses, sponsorships, or individual fundraising campaigns. Projects must be based in Canada and led or endorsed by Indigenous communities.

By offering flexible funding to grassroots projects, the Indigenous Communities Fund aims to empower Indigenous voices, strengthen community well-being, and support long-term, culturally grounded solutions that are led by and for Indigenous Peoples.
