Request for Applications: TTF Community Fund in Canada

Skills for Londoners Community Outreach Programme (UK)

Deadline: 30-Sep-2025

The Temiskaming Foundation’s Community Fund is now open to support projects that strengthen communities across Temiskaming, from Kirkland Lake to Latchford.

Designed as a flexible funding source, the fund provides grants to address a wide range of local needs in social services, arts and culture, education, healthcare, physical fitness, amateur sports, and other charitable community services. Grants are available up to a maximum of $5,000, offering organizations the chance to make a meaningful impact in their communities within the coming year.

To be eligible, applicants must either be a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency or a non-profit organization, municipal government, First Nation, or government agency delivering initiatives that align with the Foundation’s charitable purposes. All applicants must be providing services within the District of Timiskaming and be in good standing with previous grant reporting requirements.

The Advisory Committee will prioritize projects that demonstrate broad community benefit, remove barriers to participation, and make Temiskaming a better place to live. Special consideration will be given to initiatives that ensure inclusivity, promote access without discrimination, and show strong financial planning to achieve their goals. Projects must be completed within twelve months and should not rely on consistent annual funding from the Foundation, encouraging new and innovative approaches.

With its emphasis on community-driven impact, the Community Fund offers an important opportunity for local groups to secure resources that help expand services, support cultural and educational activities, and improve overall quality of life across the district.
