Request for Proposals: Mid West Community Grants in Australia

Kingston Council's Community Resilience Fund – United Kingdom

Deadline: 31-Oct-2025

The Mid West Community Grant Program, administered by Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU) in collaboration with its joint venture partner Beach Energy, is now open for applications from not-for-profit community groups, clubs, and organisations in Western Australia’s Mid West.

The grants offer up to $4,000 per project to support locally driven initiatives that enhance community wellbeing across education, skills, health, social engagement, and environmental sustainability.

Applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that align with MEPAU’s focus on STEM education, youth employment pathways, sustainable community projects, and local Indigenous inclusion. Projects must benefit the Mid West region—especially in areas where MEPAU operates such as the Shires of Irwin, Coorow, Carnamah, and the City of Greater Geraldton—and should demonstrate clear community impact and potential for sustainability beyond the grant period.

When applying, organisations must ensure compliance with MEPAU’s funding guidelines and terms. Activities supported cannot involve political, religious, commercial, or retrospective elements, nor the core operating expenses of organisations. Successful projects will be required to complete within twelve months and submit evaluation reports and financial documentation upon conclusion.

This grant provides a valuable opportunity for smaller community organisations to leverage financial support, amplify local impact, and contribute to long-term development in the Mid West. Those interested should review the information for applicants and consider submitting proposals during the annual application window.
