Deadline: 15-Oct-2025
The Urban Space 100 grant program remains a vital resource for supporting non-profit initiatives aimed at the development of Ivano-Frankivsk.
This unique program welcomes a wide range of project ideas without limiting topics or setting a cap on requested funding. The key requirement is that all proposed projects must be directly connected to the city, ensuring that the support offered stays local and impactful.
Applications are open to public organizations as well as initiative groups working in partnership with non-profit entities. This inclusive approach allows a broad spectrum of voices from the community to present their ideas for positive change. Whether cultural, educational, environmental, or community-driven, any project that contributes to the betterment of Ivano-Frankivsk has the opportunity to be considered.
In addition to general development projects, the program continues its strong support for military-related initiatives. However, only organizations based in Ivano-Frankivsk can submit such proposals, and only for brigades that are directly linked to the city. To maintain transparency and fairness in the selection process, Urban Space 100 requires all participants to apply through the official grant application system. Letters of request or informal appeals will not be accepted.
The selection of projects is conducted by the founders of Urban Space 100, who review and vote on proposals during quarterly general meetings. Although the results of the vote and specific decision-making details are not publicly disclosed, the list of supported projects is shared once the selection process is complete.
Certain limitations apply to ensure the integrity of the program. Projects with political or commercial elements will not be supported, nor will proposals where more than 20% of the budget is designated for administrative costs or fees. Additionally, organizations that received funding in previous rounds but failed to report on their project’s outcomes will be disqualified from further participation.
Urban Space 100 continues to serve as a platform for meaningful, community-rooted development in Ivano-Frankivsk, empowering local voices and encouraging civic engagement through transparent and structured grantmaking.
