The Amkeni Wakenya project, implemented by UNDP Kenya, aims to reinforce democratic governance through civil society engagement. It supports CSOs in promoting human rights, social justice, accountable governance, and participatory democracy across Kenya. Network Development
Under 3P4D, UNDP Kenya, in partnership with PEN Kenya, has established nine youth- and women-led networks across Kitui, Kilifi, Kwale, and Turkana counties. Each network has at least 15 member organizations, focusing on self-regulation and alignment with the Public Benefits Organizations Act.
Consultancy Opportunity
UNDP Kenya seeks consultancy support to:

Deliver capacity strengthening, mentorship, and guidance for CSOs and networks.

Support resource mobilization, strategic communications, accountability, partnerships, and institutional development.
Eligibility Requirements for Firms:

Legally registered in Kenya with minimum seven years of operation.

Physical offices in Kenya and proven experience in CSO capacity building.

Experience supporting youth- and women-led CSOs in marginalized counties.

Expertise in multidisciplinary teams with at least four qualified experts.

Demonstrated track record of Kenya-based relevant assignments and collaborations with UN or international organizations.
