Redland City Council is offering Community Grants to support initiatives in many areas including economic development, community development, sport and recreation, cultural heritage, the arts, and the environment.
The Community Grants Program provides funding to support local community organizations and individuals to undertake projects for the benefit of the Redlands Coast community.

- Increasing employment and/or boosting the local economy
- Assisting community organizations to provide services

Type of Grants
Grants are available in four categories:
- Organization Support– funding up to $3,000 to support Redlands Coast community organizations improve planning, governance, and management practices.
- Project Support – funding up to $10,000 to support organizations delivering specific one-off projects, events, or activities that provide positive outcomes on Redlands Coast.
- Conservation – funding up to $10,000 to assist individuals or organizations for specific projects that will provide positive outcomes for the environment and wildlife on Redlands Coast.

Capital Infrastructure – funding up to $50,000 to assist organizations to build, renovate or refurbish and improve community facilities on Redlands Coast.
- Small Capital Infrastructure – funding up to $10,000 is available to assist eligible organizations to build, renovate or refurbish facilities, including hard-wired technology upgrades (Applicants must make a 20% financial cash contribution).
- Major Capital Infrastructure – funding between $10,000-$50,000 is available to assist eligible organizations to build, renovate or refurbish community facilities, including hard-wired technology upgrades (Applicants must make a 50% financial cash contribution).
Eligibility Criteria
- A not-for-profit and incorporated entity or registered by an Act of Parliament.
- Have an active ABN or Statement by Supplier.
- Be operating and financially viable.
- If sourcing an auspice organization, ensure the auspice organization is a not-for-profit and incorporated entity.
- If sourcing an auspice organization, ensure the auspice agrees to accept legal and financial responsibility for the grant.
- Hold public liability insurance.
- Have a bank account in the name of the legal entity.
