The Cooksville Community Action Grants offer a structured yet accessible funding platform for projects inspired by local priorities. Whether it’s a grassroots event or a collaborative, multi-partner initiative, this fund is designed to respond to the evolving needs of the community.

There are two distinct streams available through this program. Resident-led teams can apply for smaller grants to execute short-term acts of community engagement, with funding ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 for initiatives lasting up to six months. For longer, structured projects led by agencies or collaborations, grants range from $25,000 to $75,000 and support work extending up to 18 months. This design ensures both nimble ideas and more complex efforts can find backing.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to attend information sessions—offered both virtually and in person—as well as dedicated office hours in Cooksville. These touchpoints provide essential support around project alignment, application clarity, and effective community engagement.

Aligned with broader regional strategies, successful applicants will ground their projects in the Cooksville Community Action Plan, ensuring local relevance and alignment with equity and inclusion goals.
