Deadline: 24-Oct-2025
The Auckland Council is inviting applications for the Waitematā Quick Response Grant, which provides funding between $500 and $4,000 to support a variety of projects across arts, community, environment, events, heritage, and sports and recreation.
The Waitematā Local Board gives higher priority to initiatives that address inequality, empower women and girls, take community action on climate change and biodiversity, deliver sustainable solutions for homelessness, encourage waste minimisation, promote smoke-free events, build community resilience, foster cross-community connection, and support heritage recognition and storytelling.
While applications for other projects and services will be considered, activities with limited local benefit, commercial promotion, ongoing operational costs (except specialist services), prizes, travel expenses, and ticketed events are treated as lower priorities.
Ineligibility extends to requests above the maximum grant value, liquor licenses, private entertainment, vehicle purchases, or applications from groups with outstanding accountability reports from previous grants.
