Deadline: 30-Jul-2025
The Town of Victoria Park’s Arts Grants program is designed to support artists, creatives, and cultural projects that help build strong connections with the local community. By offering funding, the program aims to encourage the creation of projects that enrich the area’s cultural scene, engage residents, and help grow local artistic talent.
Applicants can request up to $10,000 in funding. Projects that may be funded include artist residencies, mentorships, and community arts initiatives that involve residents in the creative process. The program also supports arts-based workshops, events, and activities that activate public spaces, such as murals, temporary artworks, and interactive installations. Celebrating the Town’s cultural diversity and encouraging collaboration between local creatives and small businesses are also encouraged.
Eligible applicants include individuals with an ABN, those supported by an eligible auspice organisation, or not-for-profit groups such as incorporated associations and public companies limited by guarantee.
Funding will not be provided to for-profit organisations, individuals without an ABN or auspice, or projects without a public outcome in the Town of Victoria Park. Existing or recurring events without new elements are also ineligible. Proposals that contradict the Town’s policies or involve major capital expenses, unapproved public artworks, or operational costs like rent and wages will not be funded.
