Deadline: 17-Oct-2025
The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) – Jerusalem Office has announced a new opportunity under the programme “Promoting Gender-Responsive Actions in Palestine to Integrate Women in the Culture and Creative Industry”.
This initiative seeks to advance gender equality by increasing women’s participation in Palestine’s culture and creative industries through targeted institutional support and capacity building.
The service contract focuses on designing and delivering a comprehensive training program on gender mainstreaming and women’s economic empowerment for ministries directly involved in enhancing Palestinian women’s employment and employability. The program also integrates crucial modules on the Do No Harm principle and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) to ensure that gender inclusion efforts are implemented responsibly and safely. Innovative and participatory teaching methods will be used, moving away from traditional frontal classroom approaches to create an engaging learning environment.
The training initiative will be implemented in three stages. It will begin with a preliminary capacity assessment of targeted government employees to identify specific skill gaps and needs. Based on this assessment, tailored capacity-building sessions will be conducted covering gender mainstreaming strategies, methodologies, and effective communication skills. Finally, a post-training evaluation and follow-up meetings will be carried out one year after completion to assess the impact and sustainability of the training outcomes.
With an indicative budget of up to €100,000, this contract offers a significant opportunity to drive systemic change and strengthen institutional frameworks supporting women’s participation in the labor market. Participation is open on equal terms to profit and non-profit organizations, NGOs, and civil society organizations registered in Palestine, provided they have at least five years of experience in areas related to the scope of this contract. This initiative aims to create lasting structural change by empowering institutions to pave the way for greater inclusion of women in Palestine’s cultural and creative sectors.
