The SUS Programme, jointly offered by the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia (CAS Sofia) and New Europe College Bucharest (NEC), supports postdoctoral scholars from regions affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine. Fellows can spend one or two semesters in Bucharest or Sofia, receive a monthly stipend of €1,000, accommodation, travel reimbursements, and seed funding for research projects. Applications are due March 31, 2026, with fellowships starting in October 2026 or March 2027.
