Training Program for Ukrainian Communities on the Path to European Integration

#image_title

Deadline: 10 November 2025

The public organization “Access Point” (Ukraine) and the “Education for Democracy” Foundation (Poland) have launched the training program “Ukrainian Communities on the Path to European Integration” to support local representatives from Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv regions in strengthening their communities and advancing Ukraine’s integration with the European Union.

The focus of this program is to identify and support candidates who are ready for cooperation at the government-society level in their community and for joint participation in various components of the program; have a desire to actively participate in the implementation of reforms in their community and in Ukraine; and are motivated and ready to take responsibility for the development of their community.

Preference will be given to representatives of the following communities: with a population of up to 30 thousand, affected by the war and in need of restoration (including the restoration of human capital due to large migration where the population decreased by more than 10% compared to 2022), that have hosted a significant number of internally displaced persons (more than 10% of the total number of residents of the community); and deoccupied communities where at least two team members at the time of application reside in the community on whose behalf the application is submitted.

Teams that successfully complete the training program will receive financial support of up to $1,200 to implement community initiatives based on the knowledge and skills acquired during the sessions. This funding aims to empower local actors to take practical steps in advancing development and reform efforts within their respective regions.

The training will be conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to engage directly with experts and peers while discussing the key aspects of European integration and the roles local communities can play in this transformative process.
