UN Women is calling applications for the Constitution of the Pool of UN Women Ivory Coast Suppliers to provide leadership and coordination of all the efforts of the United Nations system to ensure its commitments in terms of gender equality and empowerment of women and the operational translation of gender mainstreaming worldwide.

UN Women, drawing its source from the vision of equality as stated in the United Nations Charter, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the economic empowerment of women; the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development interventions, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. By placing women’s rights at the center of all its efforts, UN Women will ensure the lead and coordination of all the efforts of the United Nations system to ensure its commitments in terms of gender equality and the empowerment of women and the translation. UN Women has been present in Côte d’Ivoire since 2011 and contributes with its partners to promote gender equality and women’s rights in the country.
