Applications open for Active Cardinia Grant Program (Australia)

Small Grants Fund Program (Australia)

Deadline: 31-Oct-2025

The Cardinia Community Foundation in Victoria, Australia is offering community grants to support locally-led projects that promote inclusion and participation among community members who may face barriers.

Over two decades the Foundation has distributed nearly $1 million to strengthen the Cardinia Shire, and its current round continues that tradition by inviting small-scale proposals that have meaningful local impact.

The upcoming grant round, called the Active Cardinia Grant Round 2025, will fund projects with grants up to $1,000. It is designed for initiatives that engage people who might be socially or economically disadvantaged, such as those with disabilities, elderly residents, migrants, or individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Projects might include sponsoring children’s participation in team sports by covering registration or uniform fees, offering youth social and physical activity programs, or providing essential water safety training for adults.

Applicants are encouraged to download and review the grant form in advance, and support is available through the Foundation for those needing assistance in preparing their proposal.

Cardinia Community Foundation is a philanthropic organization dedicated to raising funds and supporting local not-for-profit groups and charities in Cardinia Shire. Its grant program is focused on empowering community organisations to deliver projects that build connections, enhance wellbeing, and reduce barriers to participation across their local area.
