Union Training and Innovation Program: Investments in Training Equipment Stream in Canada

The Government of Canada is accepting applications for the Union Training and Innovation Program (UTIP) to support investments in training equipment and materials for unions.

It also supports innovative approaches to improve apprenticeship outcomes, including improving the participation and success of equity derserving groups such as women and Indigenous people.

Objective

The Investments in Training Equipment Stream aims to increase union investment in training equipment and materials that meet industry standards or investments in new technology. It will fund projects that demonstrate gaps or needs for trades training equipment and/or materials to meet industry standards or investments in new technology for Red Seal apprentices and/or non-registered apprentices.
