Deadline: 19-Dec-21

The U.S. Embassy in Tunis has announced the 2022 Study of the United States Institute (SUSI) for Student Leaders: Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Program to provide undergraduate students with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills.

About the Program

The program includes seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures as well as educational travel, site visits, leadership activities, and volunteering within the local community.  Through these engagements, participants will examine topics such as trade, investment, financial literacy, banking, microfinance, organizational development and management, innovation, emerging markets and risk analysis, strategic business planning, corporate social responsibility, and minorities in entrepreneurship.

The Institute’s four-week academic program and one week study tour will focus on developing participants’ critical thinking, communication, decision-making, and managerial abilities while boosting their knowledge about the development, history, challenges, and successes of U.S. entrepreneurial enterprises, including social enterprises, business leadership and women’s economic empowerment in the United States and globally.
