Kufuor Scholars Program 2025 in Ghana

Deadline: 30-Nov-22

The U.S. Embassy in Mali is now accepting applications for its Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Student Leaders on Economic Empowerment.

Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Student Leaders are five-to-six-week academic programs designed for foreign undergraduate students between the ages of 18 and 25 to improve their understanding of the United States and to develop their leadership skills.

The Study of the U.S. Institutes on Economic Empowerment, hosted by the University of Delaware in Newark, DE, will examine topics including, but not limited to, an overview of the U.S. economic system and structures, economic prosperity and opportunity, building sustainable economies, inequities in economies, financial access, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems, social capital development, financial literacy, and organizational development and management. Interactive skills building and leadership development sessions are also an integral part of programming. The Institutes encourage participants to develop innovative and practical plans to become engaged and informed citizens in their own communities. The Institutes include a study tour that complements the academic residencies and allow participants to broaden their understanding of citizen engagement across the United States
