The Ukrainian Association of Adult Education is accepting applications for the IX All-Ukrainian Competition of the Best Projects in the Field of Adult Education.
The competition is designed to promote the development of adult education in Ukraine and popularize it. It should also stimulate professional interaction among adult education providers, facilitate the exchange of experience and the dissemination of best practices and initiatives for the formation of a lifelong learning society.
The competition will be held in four categories: the best project for the implementation of civic education; the best personal development project; the best project for the support and reintegration of veterans; the best project for vocational training and retraining. In each nomination, the competition committee will determine the winners (first, second, third places), and will also select the grand prize of the competition.
The winners will receive diplomas and a special award from the organizers and will also be able to present their projects at the annual General Meeting of the Ukrainian Association of Adult Education. All participants will receive certificates of participation.
Adult education providers, including all interested state and non-state institutions working in the field of adult education, or individual citizens (citizens’ initiative group), can become participants in the competition. To participate in the competition, educational projects or individual periods (stages) of projects that were fully implemented by providers from July 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, are accepted. Participants may submit multiple competition proposals to the competition.
The competition committee will evaluate projects based on their relevance to current conditions and target audiences, innovation, social significance, clarity of goals, alignment of activities with objectives, collaboration between government and non-governmental institutions, potential for continuation and scaling, originality, and the scale of participation and involvement.
To participate in the competition, interested providers need to register their project by filling out the Google form available at the provided link. The competition proposal should be written in the state language or the language used during the project implementation, and the accuracy of the information provided is the responsibility of the competition participant.
Applications for the competition will be accepted until November 15, 2025.
