MEST Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship - Ghana

Deadline: 11-Aug-2025

Applications are now open for the Equality in Education Fund, coordinated by the Support Foundation for Civil Society with financial backing from the Yamantürk Foundation. This fund aims to support projects by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that work to improve access to education for girls and young women.

The fund seeks to promote innovative approaches in education, support vocational training, and encourage participation in education or employment among young women who are not currently in school or working. It aims to address barriers and create new opportunities for educational advancement and economic inclusion.

Projects applying for funding should address at least one priority area, such as removing barriers to education for girls, supporting their continued education, promoting critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills, or helping young women enter vocational training and employment.

A total of 1,000,000 TL will be distributed through the fund, and applicants may request up to the full amount. Eligible applicants include associations, foundations, non-profit cooperatives, unions, university research centers, and federations or confederations legally established in Türkiye.

Applicants must focus on education, children’s rights, or gender equality, and have an annual revenue between 100,000 TL and 10,000,000 TL in 2024.
