Call for Proposals: Baltic-American Dialogue Program

Call for Proposals 2022 under "India-Japan Cooperative Science Programme”

Deadline: 15-Oct-2025

The Baltic-American Dialogue Program promotes the exchange of ideas and international collaboration between the Baltic States and the United States. The initiative supports organizations in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania by providing funding to host expert American speakers who can offer innovative solutions and valuable insights on key topics.

Through this program, public organizations and NGOs can connect with U.S. professionals who bring best practices, specialized knowledge, and inspiring success stories tailored to local interests. The goal is to foster meaningful discussions and encourage long-term cooperation between the regions.

Participants benefit from expert guidance, enhanced global visibility, and personalized learning opportunities that directly address the needs of their communities. Events and sessions are designed to be focused and impactful, with the added support of financial coverage for major expenses such as airfare, accommodations, meals, local transportation, and event needs like IT or translation services. However, the program does not cover speaker fees or honoraria.

Eligible applicants include NGOs, universities, public institutions, government bodies, chambers of commerce, and social or business-related organizations. Proposals must align with the mission of enhancing U.S.-Baltic ties and should clearly demonstrate how the exchange will lead to learning, idea-sharing, and community impact.

Projects that foster collaboration between similar groups across multiple Baltic countries will receive special consideration, emphasizing the program’s commitment to regional and transatlantic cooperation.
