The Mansa Municipal Council is inviting communities in the Mansa district to submit applications for the 2026 allocation of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). This opportunity is designed to support community-driven projects that contribute to poverty reduction and local development.
Eligible projects include initiatives in water and sanitation, road construction, agriculture, markets, bus shelters, education, health, security infrastructure like police posts, and recreational facilities. Other supported areas include crossing points, canals, and dip tanks—projects that directly benefit community wellbeing and infrastructure.
Application forms for the CDF can be obtained free of charge from the local authority, parliamentary constituency office, or any public institution within the constituency. Forms must be typed or neatly filled out by hand.
Each application must be submitted along with signed minutes from the zonal assembly meeting and the Ward Development Executive Committee meeting. The application must be signed by the ward development committee chairperson. If the chairperson is unavailable, the vice chairperson may sign. If both are unavailable, the committee must nominate a member to sign the application on their behalf.
Project proposals that fall outside the listed scope will not be considered for funding.
