The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has opened a call for applications to support integrated interventions in livelihoods, economic inclusion, and food security for displaced persons.
The focus areas include food security, covering agricultural inputs, food assistance, seasonal food security and nutrition assessments, and Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC).
Livelihoods interventions span animal production, fisheries and aquaculture, microfinance and revolving loan funds, self-reliance initiatives, support for smallholder agricultural markets, and technical and vocational education and training.
The geographic focus is on Niger, specifically in the Agadez region.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their sector expertise, project management skills, local presence and experience, cost-effectiveness, contribution of resources, accountability to communities, and the sustainability of their interventions.
