Rondell Foundation announces Curriculum in National Security and Public Policy – Georgia

The Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (Rondell Foundation) has announced a selection of participants in a vocational training program – National Security and Public Policy.

The program aims to train analysts working on national security issues to continue their careers in law enforcement agencies, the diplomatic service, the non-governmental sector or business.

The training program offers participants to deepen their knowledge in analytical methods, national security and public policy issues, and pays special attention to the acquisition and enhancement of the skills necessary for the successful conduct of the national security policy development process.

The program is implemented by the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Relations Research (Rondell Foundation) with the financial support of the US Government.

The program will begin in mid-July 2020 and end in June 2021.

Topics

The program covers the following topics: International and National Security, Public Policy Analysis, Research Methods, Economics, European Integration, Post-Soviet Space, Energy Security, Strategic Communication, the Middle East, International Finance and Defense Policy, a total of about 200 academic hours.

The training courses will be led by Georgian and American specialists. Working language – English and Georgian, classes will be held in the evening.

Eligibility Criteria

Participants can be: public servants of the middle class and representatives of civil society and the media.

Selection Criteria

Criteria for selection in the program: higher education, good knowledge of English, relevant work experience, interest in the fields to be studied.
