Schools Environmental Competition in Ireland

The Westmeath County Council is seeking applications for its Schools Environmental Competition to showcase environmental projects undertaken by Secondary, National, and Pre-schools.

The competition is open to any environmental theme. The project can be undertaken by a class, a group of classes or the whole school.

Categories

There is a Secondary school, National school, and Pre-school category and schools will be notified of the judging dates in advance.

Prize Details

• Secondary
  • 1st Prize: Trophy and €300
  • 2nd Prize: Trophy and €100
• National
  • 1st Prize: Trophy and €300
  • 2nd Prize: Trophy and €100
• Pre-School
  • 1st Prize: Trophy and €300
  • 2nd Prize: Trophy and €100

Conditions

• One entry per school.
• 3 – 5 photos of the project must be submitted with your application and these may be used in promotional material for the Cathaoirleach Awards.
• All projects must be located within County Westmeath.
• Applications will not be accepted after the closing date.
