The U.S. Embassy in Mozambique of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit proposals for combatting unemployment, discrimination, and youth marginalization through English Language.

This should be achieved through introduction, development, and implementation of a professional American English certificate course for the faculty members and final year students of Industrial and Commercial Institute of Pemba, as well as the creation of a separate short-term training course focused on developing technical skills, that will allow underprivileged youth in Cabo Delgado to qualify for job opportunities and/or create local jobs, which contributes to boosting the economy of the Province and economic prosperity for individuals.

The applicant may also create with the help of an American expert or organization a separate English for Tourism course that can be implemented into the curriculum of the Hospitality and Tourism course of the Institute.
