Applications are now open for the Climate Label for Women in Energy Incubator Program, a 6-week immersive entrepreneurship program for women students pursuing Masters or PhD in any university in Tamil Nadu.
This program is designed to fuel inspiration, build knowledge and provide hands-on business experience to help you launch their career in Energy Entrepreneurship.
Program Format
- Phase-1: Induction and Team Formation (1 week): In the first week, you will be introduced to the program and formed into different teams through team building activities. You will be further exposed to clean energy and basics of business literacy to build your foundation in the subjects. Weekly commitment: 4-6h/ week
- Phase-2: Startup Simulation: A hands- on learning exercise (3 weeks): In the next three weeks, you will develop entrepreneurship skills through an immersive exercise of simulating some of the energy startups. Weekly commitment: 4-5h/ week
- Phase-3: Developing your Business Idea & Pitching (2 weeks): In the last two weeks, they will help you develop your business idea through workshops as well as mentorship. Teams will be further supported in refinement of business model and pitch preparation for the finale Pitch Day.
Incentives
- Special Incentives: The 3 winning teams will get a chance to be a part of 2-day workshop in Goa, where experts will help them refine their business idea
Eligibility Criteria
- Women students pursuing Masters or Doctorate (PhD) in any university in Tamil Nadu and have an aptitude for technology.
- You can apply as an individual or in teams of maximum 3 members.
- Note:
- Students enrolled in diploma or graduate programs like engineering/BSc. are welcome to apply and they will evaluate these applications on a case-by-case basis.
- Please note that if you are applying with a team, each team member needs to individually fill in this application form. If you wish to apply with a team of more than 3 members.
