The One Young World is pleased to collaborate with the First Lady of Paraguay, Silvana Abdo, to launch the Mbarete National Youth Award.
The award will recognize young leaders from Paraguay between the ages of 18 and 30, who lead social, technological, cultural and business initiatives focused on the empowerment of women, innovation, entrepreneurship, environmental initiatives and social volunteering.
The First Lady of Paraguay, in collaboration with the Paraguayan Secretariat for Youth, will sponsor five (5) young leaders from Paraguay to attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester, UK and become part of the global One Young World community. YoungWorld.
What is the Contest About?
- It is a national contest for young leaders who lead active social projects in any of these 5 areas: women’s empowerment, innovation, entrepreneurship, care for the environment and social volunteering.
What do they Young People Gain?
- The prize consists of an all-expense paid trip to Manchester – England, so that the best projects in each area become ambassadors of Paraguay who, together with the First Lady, will participate in the One Young World 2022 forum.
What is the One Young World?
- It is a non-profit organization that organizes the most important youth leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship forum in the world, bringing together international protagonists and recognized figures from all fields.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Have Paraguayan nationality.
- Reside in Paraguay.
- Lead or be part of an initiative or project that generates an impact in their territory or country.
- Not having participated in One Young World previously.
Criteria
- Relevance of the initiatives that you lead or in which you have participated.
- Demonstrate leadership ability.
- Address local and/or global problems in your community or territory.
- Impact of the projects carried out.
- Commitment and potential benefit for the communities or territories to which it belongs
- Motivation to participate in One Young World.
