Digital Rights Advocacy, Activism and Security Capacity Building Programme for CSOs

CFAs: Finnish CSO’s Development Cooperation Programmes

Deadline: 30-May-25

The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) invites civil society organisations to apply for an intensive Capacity Building Programme on Digital Rights Advocacy, Activism, and Security.

The programme aims to equip participating organisations with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively advocate for digital rights, leverage digital tools for impactful activism, and significantly enhance their digital security posture.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the digital rights landscape, learn to design and implement effective online advocacy campaigns, master tools and techniques for secure communication and data protection, and develop strategies to mitigate digital risks and respond to threats. With an overarching goal to empower organisations with the right skillsets to operate more safely and effectively in the digital space, strengthen their resilience and amplify their voices in the pursuit of a more open, inclusive, and rights-respecting digital environment in West Africa.
