Apply for Skill India Sculpture Design Contest

Entries Open for International Sculpture Center Innovator Award

Deadline: 21-November-2025

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to design the sculpture and each entry must include a short note on the concept of design.

The core themes emphasize innovation, inclusion, empowerment, and national pride. They highlight India’s focus on skilling in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Drone Technology, and the Green Economy, while strengthening its position as the Skill Capital of the World.

The themes promote grassroots transformation by empowering traditional artisans through modern tools and digital training, integrating heritage crafts with modern markets to achieve atmanirbharta (self-reliance). They also celebrate human dignity and achievement, honouring the skilled workforce and reflecting the aspirations of India’s youth in shaping the nation’s future.

Lastly, the themes champion inclusivity and diversity, recognizing contributions from all sections of society—women, persons with disabilities, rural youth, marginalized groups, and the elderly—symbolizing unity, equitable opportunity, and collective progress.

The contest aims to inspire artists to translate India’s skilling journey into an enduring visual symbol. The winning design will be brought to life as a sculpture set up at Kaushal Bhawan, representing the convergence of creativity, skill, and national pride.

Additionally, the top ten designs will be recognized through certification, honouring the creative spirit of participants. Open exclusively to Indian nationals, this initiative celebrates the power of imagination in shaping the nation’s skilling narrative and showcases how artistry can reflect the ideals of a self-reliant and inclusive India.

The deadline for applications is 21 November 2025.
