Culturally Responsive Victim Services Fellowship (US)

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) seeks applications from individuals interested in participating in the OVC Culturally Responsive Victim Services (CRVS) Fellowship.

This program furthers the DOJ’s mission by improving the capacity of the victim services field to address the needs of crime victims.

The goal of this program is to engage a full-time Fellow to provide policy and programmatic contributions that inform and assist OVC’s efforts to increase the capacity of the field to provide culturally responsive, victim-centered, trauma-informed victim services.

OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community.

Note: An applicant is not required to submit performance data with the application. Rather, performance measure information is included as a notification that award recipients will be required to submit performance data as part of each award’s reporting requirements. Some measures are presented as examples, while others are the exact measures that every recipient will be expected to address.
