The Green Hub is delighted to announce the call for applications for the 7th edition of the Green Hub Fellowship, a one-year residential fellowship for youth across the northeast region of India to learn about the environment, wildlife, conservation, and climate sustainability through the medium of filmmaking.
The fellowship is specially for youth from remote areas and marginalised communities, who are interested to learn, but do not have access to such training.
Benefits
- The Green Hub Fellowship will offer:
- One-year residential fellowship based in Tezpur, Assam
- Training in video and photo documentation
- Internship of 10 months within the fellowship year with basic stipend of up to INR 4,000/-
- Learning about environment conservation, sustainable livelihood, indigenous knowledge, climate action, and community well-being
- Learn from experts and practitioners in the field of filmmaking and environment conservation.

Eligibility Criteria
- To be considered for the Fellowship, applicants need to (exceptions can be made in some extraordinary cases)
- Be of minimum 18 years of age
- Be ordinarily a resident in the North East
- Have strong communication skills in at least one local language
- Have completed class 12th
- Have a strong interest in working with communities on the conservation of wildlife, biodiversity, and environment
- Be willing to commit 12 months for training and internship
- Applicants from marginalized communities and economically weaker sections will be given priority. Green Hub is committed to providing equal opportunities for women and men. Applicants must not have any formal affiliation with any political party. Basic reading and writing skills in Hindi and English is preferred (preferred, not essential). Fellows should have the ability and be fit enough to work effectively in a challenging environment.
