John Dillon Memorial Fellowship: Inviting mid-career Agricultural Scientists

One Health approach for Food Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture

The John Dillon Memorial Fellowship, established by Australian Centre for INternational Agricultural Research (ACIAR), invites applications outstanding young agricultural scientists or economists from ACIAR partner countries who are involved in a current or recently completed ACIAR project. The program offers 8-10 fellowships annually.

The Fellowship aims to develop leadership skills in the areas of agricultural research management, agricultural policy and/or extension technologies. This is achieved by providing exposure to Australian agriculture across a range of best-practice organisations involved in research, extension and/or policy making.

The agricultural scientists from ACIAR partner countries are eligible to apply.

Eligible Countries

Pacific: Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu

East Asia: Myanmar, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Philippines,Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam

South and West Asia: Afghanistan, Bangladesh Bhutan, India Nepal Pakistan

Eastern and Southern Africa: Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi and Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe

Middle East and North Africa: Iraq and Egypt.
