Kosovo: KAEF Graduate Fellowship Program

2022 European Cross-Border Grants Program

Deadline: 12-Jul-21

The Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF) Graduate Fellowship Program offers graduate fellowships at American universities to talented Kosovars who demonstrate a strong commitment to the economic development of their country.

The KAEF is dedicated to the long-term economic development of Kosovo through the education of its people. KAEF provides up to 8 graduate fellowships per year to promising Kosovars for top-level training at select U.S. universities.
The KAEF Program now offers the choice of 2 distinct program paths:
KAEF Fellows have served with, among other organizations, Dell Computers, the World Bank, Voice of America, the International Finance Corporation, the Duke Center for International Development, and the Xerox Corporation.
KAEF carefully screens applicants to ensure they have a real, lasting commitment to Kosovo. As part of the fellowship agreement, KAEF requires its participants to return to Kosovo. Fellows receive a J visa, under the terms of which they are required to return to their country for at least two years. These and other measures ensure that the investment made in a KAEF Fellow is an investment for the good of Kosovo and its people.
Eligibility Criteria
The KAEF Program does not discriminate on the basis of ethnic origin, age, race, color, gender, religion or disability. Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Competition for the KAEF Program is merit-based and open to anyone who meets the following requirements:
