UUSC: Seeking Applications for Human Rights Innovation Fellowship

Deadline: 31 December 2018

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) is seeking applications for its Human Rights Innovation Fellowship on the topic “The Right to Safety in the Northern Triangle of Central America”.

The theme for the 2019 Innovation Fellowship is The Right to Safety in the Northern Triangle of Central America. These projects should focus on the root causes of forced displacement by addressing a major challenge facing individuals and/or communities who are facing displacement in the Northern Triangle. UUSC believes that the root causes of forced displacement are just as important to address as ensuring sanctuary and refuge from harm. As a result, UUSC’s primary goal is to support new systems of protection that address state-sanctioned violence.

Funding Information

Fellows will receive a maximum grant of $25,000.
