Second National E-course On Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR), Peer Education and Mental Health together with its’ partners: Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center and Robert Carr Fund are going to conduct the second National E-course On Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Peer Education and Mental Health & Well-being.
This course intends to bring information on various issues such as SRHR, Understanding YKPs, better communication channels, and various other issues to the young peoples of Nepal.
Google Classroom will be used as the platform for the e-course (Mobile app and website). Participants do not need to pay any cost for the e-course.
Topics
The e-course will cover up every information about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rightsfor young advocates and activists promoting young key populations’ rights and empowerment, especially at national and local levels. At the same time, the course intends to open thediscussion of the linkages between SRHR and HIV for YKPs, and what would be required toaddress young key populations’ specific needs in order for them to realize their rights to well- being as recognized by the SRHR agenda.
- Class 1: Understanding Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and Adolescent Health and well-being
- Class 2: Menstrual Hygiene Management
- Class 3: Violence, Sex, and Gender
- Class 4: Sexually transmitted infection & HIV
- Class 5: Family Planning
- Class 6: Abortion
- Class 7: Body Shaming & Bullying
- Class 8: Mental Health & Well-being
- Class 9: Comprehensive sexuality education (CSE)
- Class 10: SRHR issues of Young Key Populations(YKPs) and LGBTIQ+
- Class 11: Consent
How long does the e-course take to complete?
- It is the complete choice of participants to attend the offline class at their convenience and each class will be online for 7-10 days.
- The e-course will be facilitate by the interested board members and interns of the Y-PEER Nepal members.
The e-course takes about 30- 60 minutes per class. There will be 6 bi-weekly classes which will be completed in 1 and a half months starting from first week of September 2022.
What will you receive at the end of the course?
- Those participants who complete 100% of the e-course will receive a certificate ofparticipation from Y-PEER Nepal.
- The special title will be provided to a group of participants allowing themprivileges to know about the various events and activities at the national & regional level.
- They will also be organizing the small quiz online and few rewards will also be provided to winners.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any young people from the age group 15-29 years.
